Openings for both set up and operation of CNC lathes and mills. Must have prior machining experience, be able to read blue prints and use gauges. CMM and comparator knowledge a plus as well as GD&T. Must be adept at working with close tolerances.
Commercial Products Senior Sales Manager. Must have five plus years experience of technical OEM sales in the heavy duty diesel, on/off highway and specialty product fields. Additional duties include contract negotiation skills, sales forecasting, market and competitor benchmarking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.The Senior Sales Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role he/she will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required or equivalent. Travel required throughout Midwest territory. The position can be located in Clifton Springs, Chicago or Indianapolis.
Key Responsibilities: Communicates customer expectations and assists with team efforts to meet commercial requirements,Maintains and improves relationships with clients by providing support, information, and punctual responses to customer requests, Works with Sales and/or Product Manager to provide customer quotation, Identifies opportunities for bottom line growth such as price increases or process improvements, Screens and closes Returned Material Memos (RMM) balancing debits accordingly, Works closely with Order Processing to ensure timely and accurate customer demand recognition, Daily interaction with Production, Engineering, and Quality to suffice commercial requirements, Communicates contractual agreements relative to everyday actions and requests, Interfaces with customer web portals and participates in weekly production meetings, Working knowledge of non-disclosure (NDA) and long term agreements (LTA), Facilitates Service/Replacement Order process for all GW Lisk products, Ensures accuracy of customer’s OTD & DPPM metrics and escalates concerns appropriately, Proactively supports Sales Manager in the development of new customer accounts, Reviews terms and conditions, pricing, and other commercial details on purchase orders, Contributes to inquiry list for new and prospective customers, Assists accounts receivable in recovering past due invoices, Assists with data mining and reporting general customer account information, Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and Infor/Syteline ERP system a plus.
Prerequisites: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Excellent organizational skills, Experience in Sales or Customer Service, Basic negotiation skills.
Responsibilities include the calibration of equipment, product testing of finished product, technical report writing and some troubleshooting of electronic devices. Report generation and procedure writing will be required. Prior experience in calibration and product testing desired. Experience using microprocessor controls, data acquisition systems, electronic test equipment and an understanding of electrical principles and OHM’s law would be a plus.
Manage item and finalized product inventory. Maintain Master Data to provide system planning data and replenishments requirement and product allocation. Prior experience in a manufacturing setting in planning and supply chain.
Focus on process identification, planning and execution of design with the goal of design improvement and cost reduction. BS in mechanical engineering and 2 – 5 years experience in design in a manufacturing environment. Creo and syteline experience a plus. Lean six sigma/blackbelt.
Working with Quality Engineering in completing documentation requirements of customers and suppliers. PPAP, FAIR, APQP reporting requirements. Knowledge of GD&T and inspection practices. AS degree in mechanical or electrical technology or in a quality field.
Maintain fixed assets database and depreciation schedules. Record period end and accruals. Account reconciliation. BA/BS in finance or accounting. Experience in manufacturing and financial reporting.
Develop, program and maintain machine processes. Improve processes with regard to efficiencies, quality and set-up time reductions. Prior experience in CNC set-up and operation, special attention given to lathe experience. Machining software and controls experience.
Preventative maintenance and repair of CNC equipment. Maintain inventory of repair parts. Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic experience. Knowledge of electrical schematics and CNC controls.
