Clifton Springs, New York, January 7, 2020 – G.W. Lisk Company is pleased to announce the launch of the company’s Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT) product line. The RVDT is an electromechanical transducer that translates angular displacement into a proportional electrical signal when energized with a fixed AC excitation. An RVDT is a highly reliable choice for position sensing in even the most extreme environmental conditions due to its ultra-low friction design and repeatable, exceptional resolution.
G.W. Lisk Company believes the RVDT complements its extensive line of LVDT configurations currently offered. RVDTs and LVDTs output the same electrical signal and can therefore be used in similar systems. The LISK RVDT platform is available in 2 frame sizes and three different frame lengths. This allows optimization of electrical performance, envelope and weight while supporting high levels of accuracy.

Thirty years of LVDT manufacturing experience allow LISK to manufacture RVDTs with industry standard process controls. LISK RVDTs can be packaged into more complex multi-channel designs with a single input shaft in order to accommodate custom applications that may require a connector, gear head or shaft seal.
