How long have you worked at Lisk and what is your current role?
I have been at Lisk for just over 18 years. I was just promoted to the Multi-Spindle Department Supervisor in January.
What has your experience been as a member of the Lisk team?
The 18 years I have been at Lisk have been very good. I have learned a lot along the way.
Who have been some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
Carl Sands is my biggest inspiration. He has mentored me to develop my leadership and organization skills since I have become a supervisor. He is also a great source of information for solving machining problems as well.
What is your favorite memory at Lisk?
My favorite memory is being promoted to the Multi-Spindle Supervisor position. I have been in the industry for 30 years and earning that position has been a goal for me. Also being selected to participate in the Operations Leadership Training Program was an honor for me.
How have you grown professionally while on the Lisk team?
Prior to graduating from the Operations Leadership Program my soft skills needed to be developed. I had good hard skills but never really worked on my soft skills. I believe they have improved tremendously but they will always improve even more during my career.
What do you enjoy most about working at Lisk?
The people I work with at Lisk are second to none. Lisk people are always willing to help each other out. I enjoy the family atmosphere that exists here. It definitely makes Lisk a very enjoyable place to work.
